Default Front wheel

How difficult is it to replace a 19" cast front wheel with a wire spoke 21" front wheel? Is it just a simple bolt on, or is there more involved? The fender was already designed for the 21" wheel.

If you keep the same bearing size is plug and play.

Does anyone have any information about axle and bearing types/sizes? Are the forks and brake caliper the same as models that came with a 21" front wheel? Will the brake disc from the 19" wheel bolt onto the 21" wheel? I am considering both used H-D wheels and aftermarket wheels.

Being that your bike is an 06 a wheel from 2000-2007 should work IIRC. (HD changed wheel bearing size and/or type in 2000 and 2008)...but double check all that at
https://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....asp?make=hdmc
a great resource for researching parts swaps/compatibility, used it myself for a (successful) wheel swap
