Wasn't that the ace you and I rode up to the day before everyone else showed up?

I may have to sit out on this ride. Have to get surgery to reattach a ruptured bicep tendon as soon as I can. 4-6 weeks recovery time I'm told. At the same time I may be having my rotator cuff fixed which I'm told if I need that it's a 4-6 month healing time with fixing both at the same time. Hoping I only have to do the tendon reattaching.

You trying to have more scares than Paul and me?
Sucks being crippled for long periods but it’s better to get things fixed sooner while you’re young and healthy then old and not so healthy like us COBB fossils.

Yup. Going to look like Frankenstein soon enough with all the surgical scars. Lol. But like you said would rather do it now than later which is why I want my doc to try and figure out my shoulder now as well. It is getting worse so if I can kill 2 surgeries at one time I would rather do that.

Mike, F.W.I.W. both my rotator cuffs are bad, real bad, but have been able to keep going. The recovery time for those is unacceptable for me. It was bad enough waiting for my left shoulder to be rebuilt, a year- if you can believe that- but still squeezed in C.O.B.B. I back in 2017. Everyone is different, you have to do what you have to do, best wishes for great results.

I now have August 13 booked. No word on scooter, yet. A friend offered a loaner but not a Sporty.

As much as I enjoy riding Smoke-hole Road and going up Spruce Knob, this gathering doesn’t seem like it’s going to gel so I’m out.
I missed the spring gathering so I’m going back to the Allegheny for September 6th to the 9th.

I'm having some gut health issues. August is out for me, I'm afraid. Sorry, commando. Sept. may be iffy, but if I'm able to ride, a cabin at Allegheny would work, if that's what you have in mind, Mick. Have to wait & see how this works out.
