Sport-Trans is listed for '71 bikes and newer in the P&A book.
Probably hard to find now as a lot of dealers only carry Formula+, the replacement fluid for Sport-Trans.
Either would be fine to use.

Other manufacturers make primary/transmission fluids for a Sportster.
Bel-Ray, RevTec, Spectro are some that come to mind.

I've used Harley Sport-Trans, RevTec and Bel-Ray and they all have worked fine.
I use Spectro semi-synthetic 20W50 engine oil so I wouldn't mind trying their primary/trans fluid but it's just harder to find.

All will work fine.
Change oil (no matter what brand you chose) when needed and you'll do fine.

I use the formula+ in the tranny, like gusotto said I think any motorcycle tranny fluid would be fine. The 75w90 would probably work fine too the only difference is the tranny fluid has addatives for the wet clutch. I have read a few threads on here about problems using synthetic motor oil in the primary though the MOCO says it's O.K.
