The irony of it all is I was a skinny kid and couldn't gain weight no matter what I did
I'd guess we'd be looking at about a 1 horse gain for every ten pounds we lose!
Put me on the list and keep me honest.

I'm a lot like you. Just think: 5 more free horsepower!
Now if that's not motivation enough...?

Just weigh yourself tomorrow (or whenever you decide to start) and keep track of your weight. You don't have to post your starting weight if you don't want, and you can join at any time in the year, and I'll keep track of the collective pounds lost. Maybe once a week, people can post (or PM) an update and we can see how we're all doing. I'll post my status in my sig (updated weekly) and in this thread for the group.

My plan (which has worked for me before) is low-carb/Atkins. Since I live on carbs, cutting them out results in quick weight loss for me when I stick to it. This time, I'm going to start exercising, though (stationary bike) since I need to raise my HDL -- that is going to be the real challenge for me!

Im in! I was told by the doctor and the wife to shape up or ship out. I did the atkins 3yrs ago and did great but have also put it back on. I just joined the local gym 3days ago, so if you see a fat ass on the tread mill with a oxygen tank that will be me.

For all you guys needing to loose weight. Here is a way that will work doesn't cost a lot and will work. Start using Digestive Enzymes, there's different sources i like Garden of Life products. It takes you down to your natural weight pretty quickly and sets your digestive system up to work better and you burn off energy from better digested food instead of storing it as fat, that simple, try it..

Talking Good motto!

I like the motto!

Just because you're a HOG doesn't mean you have to look like one.

SWMBO took one look at it and said, Yeah--

"Just because yer old man's a HOG doesn't mean you have to eat like a piggy!"

OK.
New Year's Day.

204.6 (call it 205).

Too many parties over the festive season!

Dag-- Can you get this thread made into a 'sticky' so it's at the top in red?
I'm having a hard time finding it already....

Talk to you all again next week, if not sooner.
