Kudos, guys.

I have a bunch of bicycles, some completely built and others in various build states -- mostly used for commuting, group rides and a tiny bit of racing. They help me stay just-not-too-fat for my 1200 to be considered "too small".

Doing a spot of tweaking on the mountain bike

Been finding on constant bumpy/gravel surfaces my hands take a beating and end up hurting a lot after about an hour (thanks for rigid forks), so swapping to some carbon parts to help soak up the small vibrations/impact, or trail chatter etc.

Swapped out the aluminium handlebar for a slightly wider carbon one, this (aside from feeling better being wider) has made a massive difference already at soaking up the bumps compared to before.
Next up is by this weekend, carbon forks will be replacing the steel ones that were on there before, which should further smooth out the ride

Excited to trying it out with the new setup.
(plus is shaves 0.5kg off of the weight, although that's not really of much importance to me, as don't ride competitively or anything)
