The fairing works well. It keeps the wind off your chest and smoothes it out over your helmet without making you look thru it. I thought the old style rounded one fit the style of the bike better along with the old style 7 1/2" headlight.

Here's a couple more shots that might give you a better idea of the overall effect.

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

Just what I'm looking for. Where did you get it? Brand, style, etc.

JC Whitney had them on sale last year. Here's a link to their current page

http://www.jcwhitney.com/SPORT-STYLE...4200_10111.jcw

You can also sometimes find them on EBay as Viper fairings or Emgo fairings.

Thanks & also for the warning but I put it on to cover the couple little scratches I already put on it Well my 3M didn't stick well,my pinstripers showed up at the lot today and said they had the right stuff. Well it is sticking but they installed them to far back IMO & the scratch that happened when bending them is showing. Thank God I learned how to paint because you can't see it but I know it needs a repaint The Sundowner scatched the back fender,1 under the cover from Dawn resting her boot on my freshly painted tank F@k it for now it's starting to finally get warm and I can ride
