I can't think of any reason to use brake cleaner on the braking system of a Sportster.
There are no hoses I can think of on a Sportster that are compatible with brake cleaner.
The calipers have rubber parts, brake cleaner will ruin them.
Brake cleaner will ruin rubber parts on a Sportster. Why use it to begin with?
Cleaning metal parts that don't have rubber? Yes, essential in my opinion.
