The items I used for the complete job.....5 feet of black reinforced tubing 3/8 ID X 5/8 OD, 1 nylon tee, 2 straight nylon connectors, 1 fram filter, 6 black zip ties, 2 small screw clamps, 2 8mm silicon spark plug boots, JB weld to cover the holes in the air cleaner with sheet metal or what ever....right around $25 or so. Eventually I did away with the fram filter, but I would recommend it until you find out how much oil you are eliminating....I eliminate very little, so it works good for me.

Some where in here there is a place that tells you the exact way to do it....I will look for it....but some others know their way around in here much better than I do and they may be able to find it long before I do....but I will look.....Also, if your umbrella valves are not working properly you need to be very careful where you vent them to....some vent to a "catch can" others like me to the atmosphere and since I only get a couple of drops of oil after the bike sits....I don't worry much about it, but I do try to direct it away from the back tire, as much as possible.

Go to search and put in EBS or External Breathing System and you will get a lot of info..
I will. Thanks for the info and the list what you used!

Will that amount of hose in your air filter not be restricting and disrupting air flow rather badly?

There was a concern that the tubing would perhaps impact the flow of incoming air....as you can see the tubing is close to the back cover and doesn't impact any air going to the air filter once it is inside. Of course this is using the stock air filter and container. Hopefully the following two pictures show that,

I have the SE filter and it has 2 hoses going into the TB. I drilled 2 holes in the backing plate and ran them out the back. Like This http://xlforum.net/forums/showpost.p...60&postcount=9
