Simplified wiring
Anyone keep their speedometer after doing a basic wiring?
Doing the Gremlin Wiring kit and was wondering if anyone wired the speedo in with it before and how you did it.
Kinda wanted to keep the speedo for the trip meter to monitor gas stops...lol

1995-2003 - The VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) signal went directly to the Speedometer.
RED - 12v Power
WHITE - Speed Signal
BLACK - Ground
The Speedometer then processed & displayed the speed. Because there were engine gearing
changes between the 883 & 1200 models each had their own speedometer version.
Harness connections to the Speedometer were:
ORANGE/White - 12v Key-Switched Power (Accessory Circuit)
WHITE/Green - Signal for TS Canceller (VSS signal not passed thru)
BLACK - Ground
