That question is a two edged sword. On one hand it's nice to hear people appreciate the work I did. On the other I really don't give a damn. I didn't build it for them I built it for me. I get a lot of comments only because you don't see a lot of bikes looking late 60's chopper. It's just hard to miss.

i will have to admit the obvious: i am an attention whore. i build what i want, there is no way someone else would intentionally do to a perfectly good motorcycle what i have done, buuuuttt..... i love turning heads, in admiration or disgust....

did i just post that to the internet?

My bikes pretty much a stocker apart from after market seat and bars.
Any extra money spent is on performance or handling which are both things that can't be seen by the average sight seer but I still get comments about the bike every where I go.

Personally I think it's just a Sportster thing,,people like them.

Even though I ride one myself I can't walk past another Sporty and "never" an Ironhead without stopping and taking a real good look.

Yep,It's just a Sportster thing !
