Good to hear that you got a handle on the health stuff. At this rate when you get back on your sporty in the spring the new horsepower to weight ratio will bring a huge smile.
Keep up the good work, good luck hunting and stay healthy mate.

Yeah, what Mick said.

low pressure weather from the west plus low pressure weather from the south equals one hell of a wild Wednesday for us here in the northeast.

Overcast, damp, windy, and cold this morning.
From tee shirt hunting weather to "holy shit it's freaking freezing".
Caught a glimpse of a couple of white flags bouncing up a hill across the swamp from my stand this morning. Nothing after that for the rest of the day.
I must really be getting old because the cold is just ripping thru me now. It's getting harder to sit in a swaying tree for hours at a time while one shivers.
Maybe I should think about giving up hunting.

Well Mick, tonight while running home from my sons in rural country, a big buck crossed ahead of me,(damn these l.e.d. Lights, headlight and auxiliary, are awesome). Huge farm buck, strange rack, very tall but narrow. I was slowing and dropping a couple gears but he was off into the woodlot before I could get the bike stopped and pull my pistol, damn!

I use rechargeable hand warmers off Amazon. Put one in the chest pocket of my one piece which helps keep the one piece suit warmer inside. Carry an extra one in my bag Incase it runs out. Also wear a pair of snow deer brand heated socks which work great. They only heat the toes but that's all I need. Then I use Cabela's brand glommits I believe they call it which is a mitten that flips back which exposes your fingers to make it easier to shoot. I put those one time use hand warmers inside the mitten part and it helps keep my fingers warm.

A large solar flare happened on Thursday and it will produce an Aurora that should be visible across the whole northern part of the country on Saturday night. It will be raining here in the northeast. No aurora for me.
It should also be available on the horizon for Tracy to snap some more aurora pictures this time from down under(aurora australis).
Always rainy/cloudy when this stuff happens here.
