Take the bare minimum I need. Miniature toiletries, spare clothing rolled up into dry bags, waterproofs if not wearing gortex suit. Have synthetic HD Sportster bags & small luggage rack & can carry enough for 2 or 3 nights away. Don't do camping I like a proper bed at my age!

I lived off my Roadster for a couple of summers. I traveled and camped all over. The first summer, I had a set of Roadgear soft saddlebags.

In 2016, I had the larger Custom tank fitted as well as a set of 40 Liter Hepco & Becker Junior hard bags.

For traveling solo, it was a really good arrangement.

Everybody wondered how I fitted this on a ride from Texas.

But first. Trippin with my wife

The wonderment

This is how I pack. I added a tourpak to my bike. My clothes are in a gym bag and when I stop for the night I simply grab the bag, my tank bag, helmet, and go.

BowOnly, from your handle I am going to assume that you are a archery hunter. Do you carry your bow on the bike and if so how?

Yes, I'm an avid bow hunter/Archer.
Loading my hunting gear on the bike has crossed my mind many times. The only issue I've not been able to solve is getting large game back to the meat shed.
Thinking about riding down to Oklahoma for our yearly Hog hunt and Wyoming for speedgoats since hunting partners will have trucks.....we'll see when the time comes I suppose.
