True the L Seies were just bigger versions of a Linkert. The Super B was modded but the concentric style float bowl didn't really add all that much to the overall design.
These really are simple instruments. Same sort of carb you found on your dad's 1932 Ford Flathead. Very sophisticated compared to a surface vaporizer but not much else.
Again, any carb (within size restrictions) can be made to work but the B is very easy to do.

If your bike won't run with a Super B fix your ignition problem.
