Default Black Rain?

Tried using the "search" function to no avail, but figured one of you old-heads might know.

Anyhow, I always thought the bike Michael Douglas rode in Black Rain was awesome. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what mods were done to the bike? All I've been able to find about it is that it used a fairing made by a company under the name of Tracy.

I had never heard of it. Found a clip on youtube but they don't spend much time focusing on the bike.

Wasn't the bike modelled after the XLCR? Tracy used to be a well known fairing and windshield manufacturer but I'm not sure if they're still in business.

Maybe AirTech has something similar that you might like... they offer one named 'XLCR1' along with tank, seat and mudguard.

You'll have to get the appropriate windscreen from Gustafsson:

FOUND THIS..

Ok, this is from the source: Harley davidson of New York, on
Northern Blvd in Queens.
The bike used in the movie started out as a '89 Sporty. They
added the seat, tank, fairing, bars, and pipes to resemble a XLCR.
Two points of trivia here. 1) they were asked to ask to "age"
the bike; added "rust", and a tear in the seat. 2) The bike sold for
around $8000 after the movie was finished. Apparently it was rented

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (especially if you don't know what you're doing). Most Sportster problems are owner-induced.
