Rubbermount_EVO spacers

I just put a new front wheel on my 2005 1200c and noticed that the big spacer on the rotor side fits well but the small spacer on the opposite side doesnt fill the gap between the fork and the bearing as snuggly. There looks to be almost enough room for a second spacer.

I cant remember if thats the way it was on the original 21" laced wheel I removed or not?

Does anyone else have that much space in there? Could that be an issue or am I worrying too much?

I have a 2008 here that is a bit different but I went from a 21" spoked wheel to a 19" cast wheel both for this year bike and the hubs were the same as the spacers fitted.

Have you got a 2005 wheel or something else?

Its a 21” tubeless spoke wheel I got from Dennis Kirk…It was a “guaranteed fit” for my bike.

Did you transfers the inner spacer when doing the swap???

Remember the axle clamps all the parts to the left fork leg. Then the right fork leg Pinch Bolt clamps to the Axle Head.

Is there actual space between the right outer bearing spacer & the axle head?

Is the wheel/tire centered between the forks & fender?

Did the wheel come with a center hub spacer to match the wheel?

The OEM bearings are 3/4" axle with a width of 21mm.
Is that what is on the new wheel?

Curious, can you measure the width of your original wheel then again on your replacement wheel. They should be the same or very, very close.

Maybe I tightened the pinch bolt first instead of the other way around. I took it apart and will redo it in the morning.

Make sure the Slider Tubes are exactly parallel to each other & not bent up or down.

If you have the wheel off, rotate each lower leg on the slider tube checking to see that each leg rotates exactly in place.

Thick spacer - left side (rotor), thin spacer - right side (pinch bolt). If the rotor rides centered, in the brake caliper (with the wheel and spacer pushed up against the fork leg on the rotor side), then you may need a slightly thicker spacer on the pinch bolt side.
