Hes been receiving parts for me and sending them from Cali to NZ, esp when suppliers dont ship outside US. So yea top man George, I appreciate ya making the effort bro!

Ive said it before, you guys in the US dont know how lucky you are having parts on your doorsteps. I was reading here a guy in the US was complaining about it taking like 4 days to receive parts.. I had a wee chuckle to myself lolz..
Oh, yeah... I've had that reaction in the past too. At least now I'm back in the South East corner, things are a bit quicker and more accessible than they were in North Qld... but still... 4 days would sure be nice.

So yea I had it coated, then laser engraved with my family crest, a wild boar with a deer thighbone in its mouth. Audentes fortuna juvat (Or-den-tis for-toona ee-vart) means fortune favours the brave. Before they engraved it I had them stick on a vinyl layer that would act as a mask, the I found some really cool copper and bronze metallic paints online, then airbrushed the bronze into the engraving. Its kind of a metallic bronze ghosting effect. Ya kind of notice it when the light catches it in a certain way. Nice touch I thought..

That looks very schmick! Love the colours; the way your air cleaner came up is awesome! Cool crest

Is it easy to get a Hammer air cleaner to bolt up to a Mik48 through a Flo/Forcewinder style mount? , No, no its not.
About half a day, a couple of trips to the hardware for some bits, and a fair bit of grindey grindey with the compressed air powered dremel on the Mik adapter plate, and its solid, and restriction free. Still needs a bit of work on the internals but will do for now.

While it’s true my heart beats a little faster seeing the progress on your bike recently my eyes started crossing which I believe may be due to you recent change in avatar. Yikes.
