This happened yesterday 20 minutes from me. It's my hope that he never felt a thing.

That’s some stuff I never thought about until I read it here. Yikes!

That made the local news here in AZ.
Every few years or so we hear about dirt bikers getting struck out in the desert during our monsoon season.

I have a buddy out here who flattracks m/c's. About 10 yrs ago he had a get-off during a race and had some minor road rash on his thigh. A few days after, he was awoke by some loud thunder ect., during one of these storms. He went to his front screen door and was watching the lightning show. As he was leaning on the metal door. lightning struck his rooftop a/c unit. The charge went through him and blew all of his scabs off of his healing road rash. It also blew the electrical outlet nearby completely out of the wall.
Apparently its not just the cagers we need to watch out for!
