My riding conditions captured by Bitwell. I run like this once a month.

Not your normal sportster cruise.

I read an article on this bike yesterday, at least they finished the race in one piece. Of course the article panned the bike as "trying to race a tractor"and just to heavy at 525LB's. No one would say a word if it was a BMW GS1200 that weighs in at 50 pounds more. Of course this was in Motorcyclist mag and they have very little good to say about any Harley

After traversing 1000+ miles of desert sand, rocks, silt, cacti, and even water crossings over five grueling days, the Biltwell Frijole 833 successfully completed the NORRA Mexico 1000. A total of 43 motorcycles started the journey, but only 32 of those finished the event. The Frijole finished 14th in the Modern Open Class and 27th overall.

Not bad for the 883 Sportster.
