just looking at your Friends carb, looks like an S&S G? I've seen those ram tubes before, but forgot what they are called? also interesting float bowl he is running!
and can see you took the filter out of your Hammer cleaner, why didn't you just take out side cover off too?
also well done to you both, solving problems as they come up to make each round.

It’s a super D , novi stack, joker bowl and it was reworked by SA Racing. It’s my my old carb set up I sold to him

LOL, used to run my twin cam carb Dyna uncovered like that, worked great, but had to remember keep leg away.
did you try with cleaner in & without?

Found the cause of my running issues this weekend. On the way home was telling my buddy David, I bet the emulsion tube or main jet backed off and is sitting in the float bowl cap. Sure enough, pull the cap and out comes the tube and needle jet. Glad it was something very minor but damnit I wish I would of checked it before lining up vs wedman
