Many have been bored without that being mentioned, and there is no observable built in rake, but a digital angle finder could compare stem and tubes if the tubes are installed and bolts tightened off the bike.

Had the number of a guy I think in Milwaukee who knew every design detail of parts and pieces but have lost that number. I know "dead nuts" is what I want to feel from the front end when Im riding at 20,60 or 100+mph straights or corners .. I get close to that with my R65 Beamer although 75 is pretty much tops for it. A bike I bought at a pawn shop for 2k$. Has a strange but reassuring feel pulling through curves as if something is ahead pulling evenly. Maybe its just a very straight beamer and Im feeling the driveshaft smoothness and longitudinal crank. I dont know, never felt on any other bike tho my experience is limited, was trying to put that feel in the Sport as much as I can, one reason I wanted dual disc as the Beamer has them. It may have a hydraulic stabilizer I have never checked. I may add that to Sport anyways.

Discussed with both chassis guy and machinist I am on this forum and there might be others interested should this modification have a positive end result. Possibly a number of them. So take time, get it right. May be possible modifications are necessary for factory late 90s Sport brake parts to be used with factory wheel but that will be the target for this rendition. That will give a reference point for other combinations. My chassis guy, Houly, is an experienced ace and has access most likely to bikes he could test fit any parts mix with as well as set up a package for.

Well machinist whipped right through mod. Forks look great in the factory trees and the SE brace looks outstanding. He didnt wait for my lower tree cover so will have to take that to him separately. IF I use it ... now looking closer I see that cover ended in 1987 along with the 35mm steel lower tree with mounting holes for it. Will try to adapt it to 39mm lower tree I think, unless I feel it may vibrate or not mount securely. Might be able to attach the logo sticker I like to 39mm tree itself, is that how they did after 87?

Fender mount will have to be modified as the space between mounting bosses has been reduced a full inch. Not sure what this means for room for factory tire and dual disc brakes. Houly says "No problem". He did say the late 90s font master mounts differently than earlier ones so swapping to new brake system may be very difficult. Still not sure I understand why. Baby steps.
