Default Stokkihuggeri

No johan tässä tuli pari vuotta oltua ilman sporttimasiinaa eli olihan se jo aika hommata talliin yksi urheilumoottoripyörä... Löytyi melkein vakio '97 huggeri, kunto melko hyvä, tosin tarvitsee jonniinverran tlc:tä kun edellinen omistaja ilmeisesti ei ilmeisesti paljon perustanut pesemisestä.

Kuvaa:

Here's what google translator has to say about it......

Well, Johan came here a couple of years without having been sporttimasiinaa of fact, it was almost time for the stable just for this work a sports motorcycle ... Found in almost constant '97 Hugger, a fairly good condition, although you'll need jonniinverran TLC when the previous owner apparently does not seem to set up a lot of washing.
A small kuumakäynnistymisongelmaa also observed, but that is now familiar with already.

Driving position needed a quick improvement, maybe stonga flyer or something which would not be so nearly into the arms of ... In place of either the Z or the standard Sport orgismallinen. Fortunately, the garage is one set of old 12 "PS shocks and the front is coming to the PS of the springs. Also, the saddle is hommattava quickly, when it was sold helevata rautiksen Gunfighter.

This dude sound wicked smarter than me.... some big words i don't understand.

All Right, I was just trying to check if any Finns are on the forum and baiting them to reply

But the story briefly in English... This is my 4th sporty, almost stock '97 hugger with some cosmetic issues and hot starting problem (=after shutting down when hot I have to wait like 10 minutes to get the damn thing starting, I think I can hear gas boiling in the carb bowl). I was on the market for 1994-2003 standard sportster but this particular hugger was a bargain and had only minor modifications (I seem to have a bit different taste for mods that common in here at the moment). Handlebar was changed to flyer bar and of course the common intake/exhaust mods. I'm 6' tall so in this form the hugger is a pain to ride after an hour or 2...

Things I see coming in very near future:
-12" PS 412 to raise the rear a bit (I have a set I used w/ my ironhead but have to get longer ones if needed)
-PS fork springs
-Small tank
-Either Biltwell tracker or zed bar (instead of that flyer bar which really brings my arms too close for riding fast)
-Corbin gunfighter or similar seat

In distant future:
-2-1 or xr exhaust
-rear set
-and the list will go on...

But that's it for now, maybe some updates coming when I get the money for parts...

Wow, your Finnish is good Or you are good at using google translator Yep, it is quite clean, I was lucky to find one in this good shape. PO changed the bars to flyer bar which really desn't fit me soo zed bars are on the way... (Also ordered the tracker and I'll keep the one that suits me better.)
