Thanks Steelworker. I did try to do a search on the forum to see if anyone had started a similar thread before.... but missed that one.
Guess it wouldn't do any harm to have a quick recap though as we're heading towards a new riding season.
Like most on here I'm itching to get past the snow & cold to get out on the bike again...and maybe meet up a few likeminded folk.
Always good to know who's nearby...or not.  |

Whereabouts in North London? That's my old stomping ground.
Born and brought up in Wood Green before being dragged out to the countryside.
It's a bit of a longer journey to the Ace Cafe than it was when I lived in London but it's still my favourite destination. |

I know Wood Green (and Turnpike Lane) well. Go through them on my commute into work. I was born and raised in Ponders End, Enfield. Boy has this area changed in the last couple of decades!!
Lots of pubs have been demolished, lots of new housing has been built and lots of traffic has accumulated...
Still, there are some good bits left - Enfield Town still has some nice characterful pubs left!
