I have recently acquired a “883”
It’s a purpose built drag bike all S&S 89” set up at 64”

My question is, it’s set up to be a wheelie bar bike. But it came with a set of “Progressive” shocks, should I leave it a bar bike or switch it to the shocks? Pros and Cons either way?

There was a lot of work done to this bike to run an index class in AMA. AHDRA ECT. And I am hesitant to alter a proven combination.

Wouldn’t mess with it if it’s running the number. There’s more to it than bars or shocks. It’s the package. You can make either work. Depends what you’re looking to do.
