How did it go?

My bike is having a few renovations after 1,200 miles in driving rain to go to an old friends' 60th. Birthday party in the Dordogne. Kind of stupid thing you do for someone you've known over 2/3rds of your life.

Got a leak somewhere that's messing with the charging arrangements, the battery cover clips dislike me, and whereas I have no particular problem with cheapo Chinese electrics (specifically a phone charger), I wish I could find a reassuringly expensive one that just works without melting.

Oh, and did I mention cleaning off all the bloody French dung? <sigh...>

Diver, you ever get too Sportster Sickness North West meets? They're on Wednesday's from April til October. Usual meeting place is the Old Wellington near the cathedral.

I'm going to have to give that a go. We sometimes meet no.2 daughter on a Thursday tea time in Sinclairs Oyster bar next door. great beer and cheap. (No not the Blue Oyster bar before any of you lot start!). Might have to change to Wednesdays. I'll get the bus though so I can have a few sherbets.

There's also a Monday meet at Veteran's Garage, Barton Airfield. The Old Wellington was tricky to find with the one way system & roadworks,
