Allegheny 2023
So it’s a new year and I want to get out on my sportster this spring. 2022 was a disaster for me. Over 4 months with a cast on my hand, had a dodgy rear wheel bearing end my last planned outing, and a nasty concussion at the start of hunting season that has kept me staggering around like the town drunk.
May is about four months away and if the room has stopped spinning by then my little trailer will be parked once again in the Allegheny camp ground. Most likely would be the first or second week of the month. I will be grabbing a campsite in the beginning of April.

Hey Mick - Thanks for the heads up...
Keep us informed as the time gets closer.
I'd still like to ride that area if the weather would just cooperate.

Very nice area to visit and ride the many scenic valley roads. Think I’ll actually make a point to get over and check out Kinzua Bridge this time around.

the last time i was there was in Cross Fork for the rattlesnake hunt,sometime in the 80's.

Just a quick reminder that this is a campground. There are two cabins that I believe can hold five people each but the rest of the sites are campsites. These cabins are hard to reserve as they are in high demand.
Also being a COBB type of guy I’ll be arriving on either on a Monday or Tuesday and staying 4 days.

Got an over night Monday & Tuesday, May 1 & May 2. Anything after the 3rd & I will be there. Laura may be with me. If so, we will be doing the sleep in the trailer thing & getting a camp site in stead of a cabin. We'll see. Looking forward to doing this again, either way.
