Let's play a game
Before I start, can I say I went perusing the other xlforums for a more "appropriate" place to do this.
There's a lot of them. (Forums) I didn't realise there was a "Cafe Racer" forum. And a drag racers forum. But there is. And "off topic" forums which might be more appropriate forr this. Or not.
But the majority of the forums have threads that are really old. Or they talk exclusively about things other than Ironheads. They include topics like "Rats, Rods and customs which pricked my interest but turned out to be only for cars. (On the XLForum ?) Zero interest for me.
Mick, you can delete this thread if you want to. It will ultimately have some technical info in it (or not depending on your definition of technical).
And members can ignore it or abuse me, duzzinmadder, but it evolves out of a number of threads that have cropped up here in recent times.

Oh, forgot to mention. I was thinking of sending the "solution" to the game to Iron Mick to let him decide the winner. Although that does exclude him from the game.

It's only when I ride it.
Starts and idles just fine. Only happens when I ride it. I think.
