Been to Singapore 3 times winter, spring and summer The temp does not change much just the humidity. The only time I was comfortable outdoors was at 2am with a fan blowing in my face (winter). Lots of little scooters very few Harleys and lots of bad drivers. I guess if your there long enough you may get use to it. If your into heat and humidity your going to love it.

Hell i live in the swamps of Fla. I only ride at night. It's only 91 and 100% @10:00pm.
Quite refreshing.

As far as riding goes..when it's that hot it's NOT really fun, feels like a farkin furnace, Not refreshing at all... best to avoid it if need be waiting till after 6pm when the sun rays aren't so direct and the temps dropped down to high 80's low 90's at night..Yes it stays in the high 80's all night during the summer months..
Most of my summer riding is done in the early evening or at night around these parts, or I go ride in the mountains where generally it's 10-20 degrees cooler in early sept or october..

You can say that again I am trying to figure out how to stay cool just riding on the back of the bike ... add to it my massive mane of black hair, it's quite a pain in the ass in the NC heat waves.... sigh... but I'm not cutting it..lol
Night ridding is the best during this time

I lived in Singapore in the 70's. Stationed at Sembawang and Dieppe. Had a CB750 Honda thought it was great riding weather. Enjoyed the trips up to Penang. Do you still have the problem of being covered in diesel when travelling up the Malaysian Penisular ?
Gentian Highlands get a bit cold on a bike though.

I have seen a vest you freeze in the freezer and then wear it under your jacket.

Start early in the morning with a mesh jacket/mesh gloves/white helmet or evening rides the same way. Sun hitting your skin directly will be hotter on your ride than with a jacket on or a long sleeve shirt. And keep hydrated with water and mentally block out the heat, if you can. Take a longer break when getting gas, I rode nearly 500 miles and did this in 99 deg heat w/index between 110-115 and didn't have an issue. Mississippi gets hot @ humid by mid May and stays that way until November. So if I want to ride these are things I do, for what it's worth.

I'm from Singapore - Pretty humid when it's not raining, pretty wet when it is.
Sucks to have show chromes with the tropical weather here, but there's no stopping - gotta keep having a pair and ride it like you stole it.
