I wouldn't be surprised at tobacco smoke being more dangerous than marijuana smoke.

However the burning of anything is going to produce toxins. That's the nature of combustion. Inhaling any kind of smoke intentionally is a bad idea and definitely not safe.

This is the reason many marijuana smokers use vaporizors. Probably the safest way to smoke marijuana.

given what is known about marijuana smokes effects on the lungs in the scientific literature i don't really know if the word dangerous is very applicable. i would ask did you read the reports that i listed? there are more that you can find yourself on the subject if you look.

and as jharback noted there are ways to smoke marijuana that decrease its irritation of the respiratory system to an almost nil effect. this is in stark contrast to the way nicotine smoke interacts with the lungs, they do not effect the respiratory system in the same ways at all.

I don't like smoke... let alone weed... or hashis...
But i think that if in history...

Mussolini
Hitler
and all the other oppressors in the world had smoked tons of weed...

maybe many wars and miseries would not even occurred...

Holocaust deniers have their own evidence that it didn't happen. That's their story and they're sticking to it.

I refuse to waste a moment reading their evidence, or anything you might offer to support that the smoke of marijuana does not produce toxins capable of damaging the human body.

It's the nature of smoke itself we're talking about, and if not, then marijuana is alone in the universe as the only plant capable of producing medicinal smoke, truly the wonder drug.

Vapor administration of THC would be a whole other issue. Smoke = just say no.

it's legal to drink until you destroy your entire family and wreak havok on everyone around you.

it's legal to become so dependent on opioids that you'll DIE if you're kicked out of pain management or lose your job/health insurance......or possibly die from respiratory arrest or liver failure following Drs orders.

it's legal to get so hyped on OTC pseudo-speed that you're wrecking everything you touch during your shift.

if you're caught unwinding with a joint in your living room after work.......you risk prison time and a host of fines and drug classes that will keep you indebted to the legal system for 5 yrs at least.............

of all the above....which item is NOT Federally taxed?

nuff said !

The human lungs can do their job on the the tar/resin from marijuana smoke and "wash" it away. The same can not be said for tobacco smoke, tar/resin, our lungs have trouble "washing" that away. Thc can be extracted and put into edibles so it doesnt have to be "smoked". Nicotine can not. Holocaust aside, marijuana isnt dangerous when compared to alcohol or prescription opiates and they are both legal and taxed. I also agree that the Holocaust wouldnt have happened if someone had smoked that man out and gave him time to think from an alternative perspective. Anyway thats just .02 cents from me. Happy holidays and merry-juana smoke to all and to all a goodnight afterwards

Default Mandate

I also feel that the u.s. government should use our poll here to satisfy a ballot and federally tax and mandate recreational marijuana use here
