Default Brake line weep

Hi, wondering if this weeping is because of an overtightened/under tightened fitting or in the Goodrich stainless
hose. It’s coming from under the rubber sleeve.

Also if I replace this hose, what are your recommendations for the best replacement snd maybe I should replace the three-way too with something that would be more solid?

This is a 77 sporty with dual disks

i used russel from amazon
vibration may have taken its toll. if there is a hyd shop near by, they can re-swedge it, but if it leaks again, new one is in the cards.

Humm,
Thanks. I’m also thinking about running the lines better so they don’t have these hard angles to each caliper, etc. anybody have a nice overall solution if I end up replacing that line.

Your profile doesn't say where you are. If you live near Ontario California there is one place that always comes through: G&J Aircraft.

When you buy hoses make sure you get coated hoses the bare metal hoses suck.

Was it alright and now it leaks or you just fitted it and you can't get it to seal?

I have a goodridge pipe here and it works fine.

I find brake fluid gets trapped in the threads and what might appear to be a leak is the fluid just working its way out. I keep wiping and drying areas for a couple of days.

Another thing you have no cover on the bleed screw. A bit of dirt down there when you bleed the brakes could become trapped and stop you from getting a good seal.

fitting are just about endless. when i changed out the originals, i bought fittings with male an and use hoses with the swivel female, that way, all i have to do is change hose.
there are many sources with a wide range of $$$, amazon was the cheapest.
