Default 1985 front fork question

Good morning, I need a little guidance. I have been searching and reading, but cannot find my answer. I have a 85 that had bent forks and changed to a later front end.

The change has gone smooth with the exception of needing to adjust the spacing to allow the rotor and caliper to line up and clearance for the fender.

The wheel is a 19-inch mag, new tires is Dunlop 100/90-19 and the old is a Shinko MM90-19.

Do I need a later model fender for clearance?

Those that have made this switch what did you do for wheel spacers?

Thanks,

David

I may have figured out what I need. Centered the wheel as needed and the clearance is there, but tight. I am ordering axle spacers for the newer axle and will begin there.

I think you have your answer, there. There is not much space any way. So, proper spacing will get it done.
