Unfortunately it's not a '15. It's a 2011. I run premium anyway so hopefully no knock.

1275 kit is already on there , got about 3000 miles on it , I’ll be swapping heads and cams this winter if I can afford to send them out to Hammer to get done . I want to take out the n4’s that are in there and put in the 551 e cams , squish is good and gaskets as well , thank you for the heads up .

What are you tring to accomplish? Better low end? You DO know there's only a 2° difference in the intake close between the N4s and 551s. 46° vs 44°. You're doing headwork to change cams? And going with 551s?
Seems like a lot of money and trouble to gain nothing.
Seems to me I saw a thread where Aaron explained all this to you quite some time ago.
Unless I'm missing something you're flushing money down the proverbial shitter.
Not to mention the very real possibility your motor will sound like its ready to blow up with the 551s like so many have reported.

I’m just trying to acomplish getting rid of the n4 cams because of how close the clearence is , Arron said that even though I don’t hear anything is hitting , it dosent mean it’s not happening so I know the 551 e cams have a much better tdc number and will have no clearance issues . My N4 cams are very noisy already so I highly doubt the 551 cam will be much worse. The head work is a separate thing that i would like to have done because I want bigger valves and comp valve job and porting , my heads now have been ported but still have the stock valve sizes . So why not go with better heads when I can afford it . Am I missing something? I thought bigger valves is a good thing no? Just don’t want to buy new pistons for a few more until the top end needs to be freshend up . So for rite now that was going to be this winters / springs plan

Finally had a decent day to ride and filled it up with non-ethanol on the way home.

83XLX,
Beautiful bike. I like the simple, stock look. About 90% of my changes and upgrades are internal, so I always have that "warm and fuzzy" feeling from knowing why it's running so well.

I'm glad you had a chance to ride again. I keep a 5-gallon can of non-ethanol in the garage to refill my tank after my rides. In the off-season, I add stabilizer to it. The oil has already been changed, so it's clean inside and out.
