Odd that it has the same K&L stock number...
I went to K&L's web site and punched in 35-9940, and got the Lift-Gate page. With the message "Winch Sold Separately"...

Dude you are making tis way harder than it has go be. You are lifting the whole bike. Just part. Maybe 350 to 400 lbs at the most. People are just trying to help. If you really just want what you want then buy it but done waste our time and yours asking a question you already know the answer to.

Somewhere along the line someone should have advised you that you attract a lot more flies with honey than vinegar...

Well, if you're so damned smart......why aren't you designing a solution to YOUR problem
When i needed to lift the back of a 625lb BMW for a clutch R&R I just mounted a load rated U bolt to a 2x4 lag bolted to the ceiling and hung a chain fall
But, hell, you must be insanely more intelligent than i for you are making it much more complex than some dumb 72 year old with 60 years experience with cars, motorcycles and sailboats could ever contemplate.
Enjoy your self proclaimed purgatory....
