No ironhead, but I enjoy the ironhead section. Serious wrenching is required to be an ironhead rider.

First bike was in 1963. Enjoyed your CL350 photo. My Hondas have included CB160, CL160, CL350, CB350, SL350, CB360 and CB750F. Out of 13 bikes, the CB160, CB750F and 2003 XLH883 were the only new ones.

Age 68, married 44 years, 4 kids, 12 grandkids, probably close to one great-grandkid (oldest grandson, adopted by my eldest daughter, is army captain, married for over a year)

lets see just turned 59 last week 3 wives can't count or remember the others in between. First bike was a 73 superglide in 1976 have had a whole slew of others 76 s.g. 58 fl 49 fl 51el 37 flat head and now sportster fever 2 76's 1 75 1 70 .

I'm 29. First bike was a 82 Honda CM450 that I rode briefly before cutting into pieces. Then a 76 DT400, now the 66 XLCH.

Speaking to the XLCH, I can't say its a nostalgia thing since the bike is quite a bit older than me and I don't have the required memories to be fond of. I was attracted to it because it just has a sort of presence to it. It represents to me a bunch of different things of value (design, americana, craftsmanship, etc.) all bundled up into this single piece of art that - on top of it all - can take you places.

I am 53 , been riding Motorcycles since I was 10 , took my DMV Motorcycle test at 17 on a 1975 borrowed Kawasaki ZI 900 and passed the first time , my first Street Bike was a 1951 Harley , then a 1964 Harley , now a 1967 Harley.

I'll be 60 in December.

1 stock '82 Sporty, bought it brand new. I was so excited I could barely ride it home.
1 very non-stock '69 Sporty short chop, bought piece by piece and assembled over a long period of time.
1 wife, since 1988

I always wanted a Harley as a kid. I thought I wanted a big one, but could only afford a Sportster when I bought my first one. Still riding that first one, haven't really felt the need to buy anything bigger. Bought the '69 motor and a custom frame so I could learn more about these bikes as I built a custom hardtail.

47. I rode dirt bikes as a kid and had a Suzuki GS550 in high school. Due to a wife and kids I went about 20 years without a bike. I purchased a basket case '66 Honda Dream a few years ago as a project and fully restored it. I recently found a '71 XLCH project on Craigslist. A complete bike in many pieces. Having a Harley was on my bucket list .I knew the only way I would get one is if I made it myself. I recently finished the engine and hope to get it set in the frame soon.
