Yeah I'm looking to gain 3 or 4 ponies up top with my 570s and break 90hp @ 5800 - 6000rpm without losing anything in my midrange by keeping my current exhaust that I'm really happy with. Breaking 90hp up top by changing exhaust I'd lose some of that 88ft.lbs of torque @ 4400rpm.
I mostly want to do it to say I did it. Whatever I gain is a bonus. It might surprise me.

That's pretty good for a carbed 1250 with 560s @ 10:1 and cranking compression of 135 too.
I remember him telling me one of his heads wasn't too bad but the other one was.

First video the guy put the head face down on the bench.
I cringed and shut the video down.
Lots of guys out there, shop smart. Do not put the machined surface down on a chip bed.

He did a really nice job. Speed over volume with these heads. Especially with the 570s and stock valves. I'll benefit from speed more than volume.
Here's another shorter one where he's hand planing the decks and he shows the finished port job.

Told ya, they're not too bright. lol Especially his sidekick. He still does a pretty good job showing how to hand port regardless.

I can't stand this tatro guy at all. He keeps throwing the parts around like it was piece of junk. Scratching the head surface, forcing the valves through the seals without protection... OMFG!
And the Grind tool will go straight to the trash bin LOL.
I wonder how is he gonna tighten pinion nut...
