Default Battery dying way too fast - 99 sporty

Hey folks. Im new to the forum and haven't ridden in a long time. I picked up a 99 XLH 883 custom with a big bore kit in it over the winter.
Initially, it started ok. I shut it off - but left the key on - ran inside to grab my helmet - literally 2 to 3 minutes - and now the battery is basically dead - it has enough of a charge to power the light - but powers down immediately - then just clicking. I was thinking maybe the starter solenoid? Any thoughts? I could use all the help I can get haha.

Welcome to the Forum...

If you have a battery charger, I would recharge the battery to full capacity & try again...

If you don't have a charger, pull the battery and take it to an auto store to have it load tested...
