Probably a 1965 Honda CL72, which was the first real bike I owned. But it could be a Triumph T100C I had (much) later, I can't remember what yr it was...

Oldest bike I remember owning was a 1962 Honda Super 90. Yes, it was ridable, in fact, it was almost new at the time. I think it had something like 800 miles on it when I bought it. Rode it a while and saved up enough money to buy a 305 Superhawk. My brother bought the Super 90 from me.

Both bikes are in this picture.

That was my brother. Florida had just passed the mandatory helmet law and he got away with the football helmet for a couple months until he could afford a real helmet. They wasn't really enforcing it very much back then. Most of the local city police were not even aware that the helmet law had passed. That was long before the Internet or 24 hour TV news. I think I paid something like a whopping $24 for the Bell open face and bubble shield. That was a lot of money for a kid making $2.00 an hour pumping gas and changing fan belts.

My 1963 Triumph T100ss I had from early 78 til late 79. A good looking fast bike though the handling wasn't the best, twice it tried to spit me off breaking into a tank slapper under acceleration. I put a twin leading shoe front brake on which vastly improved stopping. My daily transport as I couldn't drive a car then. Usually a first or second kick start, it leaked a little sometimes and the Lucas Prince of Darkness 6 volt lights were poor. Wish I still had it

I had a Matchless G3L 350cc single as a basket case. And sold it on still in bits.

1976 Yamaha DT175, bought it new. I loved that bike. I gave it to a friend of my sons around 2007.
