Thanks Joe but I'm not camping down there and I'm not paying them $150 a night for a room that doesn't even have a bathroom in it. I can go to the motel down the block and pay less for a complete room. I don't care about the food there because it is mediocre at best and there isn't anything else there besides having a few nice spots to hang out at that makes it worth anything to me

I had a room on the top of the hill last time that was nice and had a bath and private patio.
But and there is always a butt, it was a very steep climb to get there. Good 30 minutes up and back to go to my room for a beer. Mike is also right on the food, it sucked. It was great if you like the food in the cafeteria in high school but not worth what they charge you for it.
I’ve driven those roads and unless you want to follow Joe95bobber over the arsehole of the dragon, it holds no thrill for me anymore. I loved that ride with Joe and Harry.

I enjoy meeting all the forum members and shooting the breeze at night. But during the day I ride and I ride hard. That’s why I go off on my own most times. So there will be no tears shed when I say I’m going to Nevada to see what this Burning Man party is all about and ride in the desert. Bucket list stuff to check off.
If I can sell my enclosed trailer and find a Kendon dual rail trailer, I might show up at the other forum event with Stairman in June.

Have fun all and ride safe.

Mountain rest was booked up one year. We found an airbnb nearby and had a great time. The campground was serving as a base camp...

I like that idea but I believe a few have already made reservations at iron horse. I was going to recommend that place as well in the beginning but the dragon was were the a few others wanted to go so I thought iron horse was better since it is right there. I do like riders roost alot. Kelley says he goes there alot and it has had some improvement since last time we were there. That gas station/convenience store right by it burnt down.
