Default 66 XLCH Tank Decal correct?

Can anyone confirm whether an orange & black, Bar-N-Shield tank decal was factory offered in 1966? I have only seen one other 66 pictured with this style decal. I appreciate the input.

I have never seen that decal on a factory bike or any reference to it in parts manuals or order forms. My original paint 1966 XLCH has the standard 1966-68 decal, as it came from the factory:

Hi Magneto Sportster, Your response has answered a question of mine too. Thank you.

But I have seen aftermarket decals like yours for sale in two different lengths. 6-1/4 and 7-1/4. Which is correct?

The metal badge was never available on the 2.2 gallon tank.
