Child Car Seats
Hello
I wanted to ask you where is the best place to buy a child car seat, and which child seat should I choose?
Which one would you recommend?

Try Consumer Reports online. Hospitals usually have good recommendations.

I think most seats sold will keep the baby safe. Just make sure that the baby seat will fit in your car (center of the back seat is safest) and that it is properly installed. And drive like a parent, there is no need to test how effective the baby seat is.

Check for any recalls.
Depends on the child's size/age. What vehicle(s) will this be used in?
We use Graco and Chicco and travel long distances at times with the grandkids, nice well padded ones. We prefer the ones that have bases. We have one that uses a base and fits a stroller.

I use the Maxi-Cosi RodiFix AirProtect ( https://productz.com/en/maxi-cosi-ro...child-car-seat) for my oldest child (4 years), can not go wrong with Maxi-Cosi. The seat makes a very safe impression. Found that time on Amazon, it had great reviews, I always read the reviews. It is important for me what others think about the product! Safety first.
As far as the price is concerned I would say it is in the upper midfield but I think it's worth it...

It's such a heavily regulated industry in the US that I think it's probably hard to go wrong.
We largely used Graco and Britax - our youngest is still in a Britax booster, and the middle child is almost ready to stop using them all together.
We had so damn many with such low usage we gave a bunch away. We're about to have too many booster seats too.

We have a Chico 1 for our son. Keep in mind adjust ability. The higher cost car seats have more adjust ability / functionality which will make your life as a parent much easier.

Often times adjustability and functionality means much more complication. Which makes your life more difficult not easier.

To an extent yes, adjust-ability will cause you more headaches. But as your child grows you can change the seat with them, or of you move the base to multiple vehicles it gives you the flexibility to move easily, vs buying multiple bases or inserts ect.
