Not that one, at the time it would have been an "open" Sporty, the turn down mufflers were his trade mark so the cops couldn't get their night sticks up there checking for baffles, or lack of and the Weber setup. Would have been 67 0r 68 or so. Got a lot of his chrome work done at Bernardos in Philly IIRC.

So as I do own a old xlx it has left me many times. Before I got the charging system down. someone had big twin gen in it. took a while to locate. but rewired it and bam.... no more walking. But we want to get there. and ride. not break down... owned it for over ten years. Just to many walks. home in early days. but I would ride it now. Guess breaking down is and adventure. but as long as you can find parts. Where do you go to get iron head parts. on the side of the road. I think that is the reason to trailer.

"Where do you go to get iron head parts. on the side of the road."
I've found some of my own parts there after turning back to look for them.
Lost my shift lever twice before drilling and tapping the end of the shaft. Big washer, bolt & blue loctite sorted that one. Interesting when you go to change gear and the lever has gone All part of the fun.

If you can't find it, just lug along to a hardware or auto parts store and buy some cheap vise grips . It will get you home.
