What exhaust and tuner are you running? Your AFR walks around quite a bit and goes very lean at high rpms.
SUPERTRAP 2-1 and TTS... the tune/AFR is a mess I know..Got to get to the tuner...riding around with a laptop strapped to my back is crazy.

You've seen the dyno comparisons. Want me to repost them for you? Honestly I can't believe you went with those cams despite those.
My choice aside, there's more choices available that would've been far better and you know it.
My dyno isnt far out. Have an exhaust leak issue to fix and im tuning my carb with an AFR gauge then schedule in Madison, WI and we can put this to rest.
Where is your dyno results? You could meet me in Madison and compare my carbed version to your EFI.
For the money he spent on head work and cams, his dyno results are sure nothing to brag about, huh?

Hey genius read my recent posts. I'm running the Khromewerks HP Plus slip ons.
All that money wasted. I'd be pissed too.

Yeah, I didn't think you'd show up to get beat by a carbed motor. I'm done here.

At least now you have an answer to your question. Look at his results for your answer.

Hopefully Aaron will get a chance to test the .551's and .585's in an EFI 1200.

Just a follow-up.

I like these cams. They're not real happy under 2,000 rpm but (after much playing with PV mapping) they will run along at 1500 rpm in 5th gear (without doing the stagger / lurchy) puttsing around. They do run nice above 2,000 rpm and feel like they have a nice rising torque curve to 4500+.

I'm a bit old school and 4,000 ft/min mean piston speed falls at 6,300 rpm, 4,500 ft/min at 7,100 rpm so I really wanted to stay at 6,500 rpm max shift points (6,700 rpm limiter) and the cams pull hard to there. I find I'm shifting at where "that's enough". It hits the 6,700 rpm limit hard.

I'm hoping Aaron will do a test with the .551's and .585's in an EFI 1200 with an exhaust other than the (3+ yrs? out of production) Defender...

I personally would never run any of my Sportiest at 1500r.p.m. In fifth gear. I try keeping them in the 2800-3500 range.
