Thank you very much for the write-up!
I'll add these in the Sportsterpedia.
They look good.
How much time did you spend installing them?

Never having done this, it took me about 3-3.5 hours with test fit/ removal then the loctite and reinstall etc.
If I knew what I know now (info in the post), it should only take me about 2hours do the same removal/install on a ‘90 model etc.
Note: the instructions were kind of blurry and I just worked off the last page where it showed what number # bolt when where.
Once I figured that all out it went ok.

Same here.
I fumbled around with the OEM instructions only to find it was easier to just wing it with the included diagram.

Nice job, they look great. By the looks of those oil lines you might want to change them, look like the are cracking and could start leaking. Ride safe!

Yes I agree. I should
Have done that. I’ll see if I can find some pretty easy to get a strap wrench and remove the brake arm off the frame support.

I have developed a small leak and I think it is from removing the bottom case bolt to put on the forward controls.
-Never had a leak but my question is, does this bolt have a "O" ring on the ends that I might have missed?
-Could be the center of the case.
-Just a drip every few days, nothing major.
Thanks,
Update: the leak I found is from the sprocket seal.
