My 08 gets 42ish around town and 45-48 on the road.
Mainly depends on what time of the year it is. Since I switched to non ethanol fuel, the mileage has gone down a bit.
I use Union 76 during the summer (Apr-Sept) then get stuck with 10% ethanol during the winter, so we use the non ethanol stuff.

It would be nice if everyone contributing would state the engine and if any changes had been made; jetting, gearing, air cleaner, etc, as well as interstate vs street.
Mine is an '05, 883 with air cleaner upgrade, 48 slow/170 main, mixture screw at ~2-1/2, ignition change (aggressive advance curve), 31/66 pulleys with a rear 160 tire.
This combo gets me consistent 60 mpg on the interstate at 70 mph, and 50ish around town. Solo, windshield, no bags, always good weather,80ish degrees, primarily flat ground. Slow jey and screw adjustment eliminated my "carb farts".

Hi there!
Mine is XL1200T 2019 year, bone stock, European specs.
Riding mostly on highways. Consumes about 5 liters per 100 km, apparently it is 47 mpg.

No idea how many Miles per US Galons ... to lazy right now to make the conversion
But I've been doing 120/140 Km from full to empty light (7 to 8 L)...
