I like the way the BDL+15% clutch grabs with authority. Quiet as a church mouse.

It's been more than a year since Alto released this upgraded Spring Plate.

Has anyone installed this? Any reports of experience with it?


It appears that Alto offers three versions of the Spring Plate
095763 (brass rivets)

I wanted to try the new one, but could not find a supplier here in France. Contacted Alto to find a stockist, who then contacted me to ask what part i wanted. After i told him i wanted the new spring plate he never came back to me. Maybe he was just a distributor and expected an order for hundreds of them! I'll keep trying. Someone must stock it!.

Fitted the new st.st. riveted spring plate today, i'll try it out whenever we get a dry day.

Just for interest, the new one measured 5.40mm-5.42mm and the old stock plate was
5.24mm-5.26mm
