You could probably get it done fabbing a cradle that could be removed using something like these. That would allow eng to be removed/installed from the bottom.
I almost hit on a cheap Buell frame last week that came up on C/L, to try just that. Had no title though.
Anything is possible. Your only limited to your imagination and your billfold.

Disclaimer: I love weird and strange projects, but an otherwise stock IH engine in a Buell might even be too much for me. The chassis on my S3, with its USD forks and wide 17” tires, would have been gross overkill for an IH engine, especially after the ton of time and money you’d have to invest to make it happen. That aside...

Extend the Buell’s very short front downtubes just far enough to marry them to the front engine mount plates. There’s no need to build a complete cradle. I’m embarrassed to admit that I can’t remember how my Buell mounted in the rear, but I know some work and creativity will be needed there. Keep in mind that you’ll have to completely do away with the Buell’s anti-vibration mounts, unless you’re an engineer with significant fabrication means and a large inheritance.
