Default Paughco single loop frame mounting ideas

I'm trying to find a good looking way to mount up a battery and oil tank to this Paughco single loop frame. Dropping a '91 motor in it. I was hoping to get the battery into a BT horseshoe tank I already have but nothing really lines up without having to place a bunch of mounting tabs for support. plus it sticks out too far on the sides.

I can track down a cylinder style oil tank, which will be alot easier to mount, but this frame doesn't leave much room to mount a battery in front of the rear fender, Also, the fender support is angled so event a small battery sits crooked.

I know this is simple stuff but I'm just out of ideas for now. Appreciate it. And... sorry for the giant pictures.

Well. All I can post is my mockup . Everything mounts behind the center post anyways . Whether single downtube custom hardtail or stock weld on hardtail on stock frame.



Edit: For a battery idea. That battery you show us overkill < Godzilla>. I'd look into getting smaller lithium battery myself. With lots of cranking amps.

i built a belly pan and fitted a litium in there and alarm n charge point etc, i also added a on off switch so i dont have to remove the belly pan if i need to do some electrical work. Fuses in the head mounting

You may find that seat + position impractical. As the coil springs compress, you slide off the back. That's why seats are usually angled up in the rear, have a raised back, or both.

cut that lower fender support out and start over. you can incorporate a fender support into the battery box/tray. just make sure you can slide the batt. out the left side easily.

Hi,

have you considered putting the full motor in the frame & seeing if a horseshoe oil tank that has the battery compartment integrated in to it will fit behind the engine?
