The almost there stage 1
I'd installed the Bassani 3" Ear Rapist Slip-ons and lost low end (expected, ordered some ThunderTorque inserts that i'm patiently waitning on)
Not happy, I went and purchased an Arlen Ness 65 degree intake and the V&H Fuel Pack.
The FP3 arrived well before the intake (still waiting) so I went ahead and installed it anyway.
It was a pain in the butt to pair to the bike as it would not connect to the phone. After trying several different ways (turning on/off wifi, restarting, etc) I finally got it to pair in the parking lot at work minutes before I had to head in to the office. They must have thought me mad, as I was dancing around the bike like an idiot
What a difference. Even with the loss of low end, the bike feels much better, with a noticeable increase in top end pull and throttle response. Some of the annoying vibration at certain RPM is reduced or gone.
I can't wait to see what it's like with the new air cleaner.

Success! Glad it worked out. Electronics can be maddening at times.
