What, this picture isn't good enough?
The bike is assembled right now but I don't have the bodywork on it.

Also in that pic it has XB wheels, but I have the XBRR wheels for it (magnesium).

What amazes the heck out of me is how close in power your fully developed S1 is considering the dozens of theoretical advantages the RR has going for it. I mean no disrespect, but in theory at least, the XL based engine is a shitbox by comparison. It is a shame the RR did not evolve into a production piece so you could really go to town with it without fear of destroying something that would cost your eye teeth to repair if something went wrong.
I hope you understand where I am coming from. I happen to like your shitbox.
There is an old saying in racing- "Championships are won with obsolete equipment." I guess that can mean many things, but your S1 is a great example of this. There should be no contest, but so far that has not been the case. Seems almost like a David and Goliath situation.
Those header pipes look huge. Steve

I agree with what you are saying Maru. Aaron was able to find as much power with a much less developed engine and a much, much smaller budget vs. the full engineering force of Buell and HD and all their money. Aaron will go down as one of the all time great motorcycle builders at Bonneville and it is well deserved.

xbrr engine build
This blog really helped me with getting my bike back together. Latus motors actually did the engine build after a broken crankshaft. Was able to take some time and address a few other issues.
I will see if I can put together some photos for you all.
