The Primary Sprocket Broke on some of the XG models. Takes out the plastic Guards. Locked up the rear wheel. What I heard, Was a Mess. If it was mine, I would refuse to take it back. HD can keep it.

Tucsonmax1, it's always a good habit to use something like Loctite 222 on all small fixings. It is a soft thread sealant that is enough to stop fixings vibrating out but is easy to release with hand tools. It also prevents galvanic corrosion.

The primary sprocket issue on the XGs does sound a concern. I wonder how common that is?
