Not even sure it's still for sale but the part number is 2420 in the -78B parts catalog.
But it is a posidrive bolt.
It would probably be in your better interest to change that to an Allen head bolt in the size above.
But, if the threads are damaged, you might want to pull the cover and tap that hole for the next size up.
That, seriously, would be a 5/16" tap.

edit:
Eyes getting old. Was right to begin with.

71 and up is the 1/4x20x3/4" posi.
70 and prior is a 1/4x20x1/2" hex.
See I was serious, just on the wrong page in the parts book.
-78B, pg 10

not to mention blind in one eye / can't see out the other.
(come on, that was funny)

If this thread size you don't see, it may have already been modified.

You were speaking of the bolt circled in Yakcm2's pic?

Yes that’s the one sorry thought your first comment was a joke lol my bad thank you very much. The previous owner put a bolt in it and it just doesn’t fit right. It was tight at one time maybe he had a but not the inside.Guess I’ll be pulling the cover to see what’s up.

No sweat budman.
When you get it sorted, see if you can find a copper washer to put behind the new bolt.
Snug plus a little also.

You might want to invest in factory service manual and a parts catalog.
They are both very handy.
Although the parts book can be confusing, it has exploded views which help with reassembly.

Yeah, that kinda takes wind out of the word help.
Post pics when you get the cover off.
Best of luck!

If you've got the -78B parts book, page 10 shows 2 parts.
part #s 20 and 13
page 11 shows those numbers with the thread sizes.
I assume you've already tried tightening the bolt.

Ok here’s the deal.Someone must have already had this issue as the bolt size was larger then the original which caused my confusion with the comments.I drilled, tapped and Healy coiled it.No leak now.Thank you all for the help.I apologize for thinking your comments were jokes.I let the trolls get to me on other sites my bad.

I live between Warhorse and Gator.....Called Warhorse up the other day (a couple of months ago) and was going to order something...(they have new owners) and they said we don't take credit card orders over the phone...he looked my name up and says I see you have ordered a lot here, and he said sorry. those are the rules....I said since you have new owners what is the discount for vets and he said 5% AFTER you spend $500. I then called Gator for the same price and they said yeah still 15% off for vets....I said I want to order it...do you need my credit card number....no, we will call you in a week or so when it gets in you can then come down pick it up and pay for it then,,,,,So...even though Gator is about 10 minutes farther away,,,,,,where do you think I will be buying stuff.
